FCF Village - The FCF village will be open Saturday during the activities times for your boys to explore. They will be hosting several of their regular activities for boys to participate in. Knife and hawk throwing is always a favorite, but there will be other activities as well. The FCF Village will be hosting a time of fellowship and refreshments Saturday evening after the evening service. Here, your boys will be able to interact with FCF members and see the FCF village lit up at night.
Adventure Ranger, Expedition Rangers & Leaders Only
This year, on February 22-24, 2019, the Shawnee Trail Chapter of the Frontiersmen Camping Fellowship will be once again having our Spring Trace and Adventure! There will be all of the usual competitions for those really cool necklaces that Bigfoot makes for us! But this year there will be a LONG RANGE BLACK POWDER SHOOT! And there might be something extra for the winner of that shoot! In the evening, around the council fire, there will be music and praising the Lord and a message from Greg “Three Cords” Rudy from the Texas Independence Chapter. And don’t forget to bring REALLY GOOD STUFF for the young buck blanket on Saturday night!!
This is of course the first event of the year, so don’t forget to bring your signed pastor forms. Or better yet, get pre-registered and have then all sent with the pony express rider. There will be a small fee for campers, to cover a few expenses. Old Timers and Young Bucks will pay $25 for the weekend. There will be an extra $10 fee for inactive members who register. And EVERYONE will pay an extra $5 if you register AFTER February 8th! Remember that inactive members can reactivate your membership by paying two years dues and working an FCF Adventure. Fortunately, there is one scheduled for THIS camp!
Now there will also be an FCF Adventure on Friday night and Saturday morning. If you are interested in joining FCF, fill out the application at the end of this packet. It would also be good to contact David “Spotted Bull” Shook to let him know an application is coming, so he can get you additional information (email@example.com). The fee of $45 for the Adventure INCLUDES your registration for the Brush Poppin’ Trace. It’s also a really good idea to have a mentor or sponsor to help you to learn those skills needed to earn those beads. If you are already an FCF Frontiersman and are ready to take that next step to Buckskin, contact JD “Lawman” Smith at firstname.lastname@example.org for information. If there is someone ready to test, we can do it at the Trace.
